As a past president of the Washington State chapter of Community Associations Institute and an active volunteer member of WSCAI, we’ve seen a tremendous amount of growth in our chapter over the past several years. I’ve heard stories from members saying the first Community Association (CA) Day, held in the 1990s, had less than 50 people in attendance.
This year’s CA Day (also known as the home show for people living in a condo or HOA) will take place on Saturday, September 24th at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center and we expect more than 1,000 attendees. Our membership continues to increase among Washington condo and HOA homeowners, management companies and managers, and business partners that serve the condo and HOA industry.
At this year’s CA Day, Condominium Law Group attorneys, Ken Harer and Theresa Torgesen will team up with other industry members, and will speak on Popular Amendments for Associations and Collecting Judgments in Small Claims Court. We hope to see you at CA Day 2011!
