Community Associations Day

Another CA Day has come and gone and my enthusiasm for participation with WSCAI is again renewed.  I know of no other area of law where clients and the professionals that serve them have so many opportunities to educate each other about issues affecting them and to assist each other with problem solving.  I can think of no better way to further the interests of our clients and I feel lucky to be practicing law in such an environment.

It is so beneficial for us to hear from Board members and homeowners about the issues they deal with every day and how some of them have worked toward resolving those issues.  It is also great to share war stories and potential solutions with other attorneys who serve associations and owners.  This collaboration helps us all stay on top of our game.

Education has been a significant part of my life (as evidenced by the 19 years I spent in classrooms) and I am a firm believer in the idea that knowledge is power.  By participating in CAI events at both the state and national level, I am able to access the best resources for information related to community associations.  The same is true for all of you.

If you are already a member of WSCAI, I encourage you to attend as many educational events as you can and collaborate with other members about managing your association.  If you are not yet a member of WSCAI, I encourage you to do some research to see what the chapter has to offer.  To get started, check out the chapter website:  www.wscai.org.

If you have any questions we can answer, please feel free to leave a comment or contact us directly.  We look forward to continuing our conversation with you in our future posts!
